The Battle of Badr took place on 17th Ramadan, 2 A.H. It was a decisive battle between 313 Muslims, led by Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, and 1,000 Quraysh warriors from Makkah. Despite being outnumbered, the Muslims displayed great faith and courage.
The Quraysh came well-armed, confident of an easy victory. However, with divine help and strong determination, the Muslims defeated them. Several key Quraysh leaders, including Abu Jahl, were killed, and many were captured. This victory strengthened Islam and sent a clear message to its enemies.
The Battle of Badr was not just about military success but also about faith, sacrifice, and trust in Allah. It showed that victory does not depend on numbers or weapons but on patience, unity, and belief.
