ALLAH HAS MADE THE FOLLOWING FIVE PRAYERS OBLIGATORY UPON MUSLIMS

ALLAH HAS MADE THE FOLLOWING FIVE PRAYERS OBLIGATORY UPON MUSLIMS:

 Fajr: Two Rakah. Its time is from dawn until sunrise.

 Zuhr: Four Rakah. Its time is from noon until the shadow is double the length of the object casting it.

 ‘Asr: Four Rakah. Its time is from the end of Zuhr time until sunset.

 Maghrib: Three Rakah. Its time is from sunset until the redness on the horizon disappears. 

 ‘Isha: Four Rakah. Its time is from the disappearance of the redness in the horizon until dawn.

Witr is a Wajib Prayer and its time is within ‘Isha. However, it must be offered after ‘Isha.
